U.S. 1, Street Rd Lane Closures at Night July 17-23 for Construction

Section of SB Old Lincoln Highway to close for two months beginning July 18th for reconstruction

Alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 on Sunday, July 17, through Saturday, July 23, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning between Old Lincoln Highway and the Neshaminy Exit for construction in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

In addition, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Street Road on Sunday, July 17, through Saturday, July 23, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning between Kensington Way and Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township.

Crews at both locations will be placing the final layer of asphalt pavement and painting lane markings as the Section RC1 project nears completion.

On Monday, July 18, southbound Old Lincoln Highway will be closed for approximately two months from the ramp to southbound U.S. 1 to Bristol Road in Middletown Township for reconstruction.

Motorists will be detoured south on U.S.1, exit at the Neshaminy Interchange, then turn right onto Rockhill Drive back to Old Lincoln Highway.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
