WMGK Battle of the Bands at Parx 360
Wednesday, September 11, 2022, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The MGK staff has listened to all the entries and has chosen the bands to compete to win the title of WMGK House Band.
Starting September 11th, each week for four straight weeks, bands will compete head to head until the final is chosen! There can be only one.
The bands competing on this date will be:
The Polish Nannies
Sister Merlin
Bambu Weasels
Phantom Trap
The winner of each semifinal event will advance to the MGK Battle of the Bands Finals on Wednesday, October 9th at 360 at Parx Casino.
The winner of the WMGK Battle of the Bands Finals becomes the next official MGK House Band.
They will also receive $1000, audio and video recording time with SoundPlex Studios, and will play the MGK Brew Blast 2025.
Doors are at 7 pm and the first band will start playing at 7:25 pm.
