Porno for Pyros coming to Bensalem
Porno for Pyros, Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble are reuniting for a 21-city tour, and they are coming to Bensalem’s Xcite Center! This will be the band’s first tour in 25 years and all to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled first album.
Porno for Pyros’ 2023 tour, titled “Horns, Thorns En Halos,” comes to the Xcite Center on November 3rd and tickets will be available for presale on July 12th, with the general sale starting on July 14th, 10 am.
The Perry Farrell-fronted band reunited for a one-off show in 2022 at the Belasco in Los Angeles and then replaced the Perry Farrell-fronted band Jane’s Addiction (Dave Navarro is recovering from Long Covid) on the 2022 Lollapalooza lineup. A festival founded by Perry Farrell.
The band has said they are working in the studio on new music so hopefully, we’ll get word of a new album later this year. The band’s last album Good God’s Urge released in 1996 was the follow-up to the 1992 debut titled “Porno for Pyros” and gave them the hit “Pets”.
