Bensalem Police Have Big Month With 17 More Arrests
July continues to be a successful month for Bensalem Police as they announce 17 more arrests from July 19th through July 25th. Again restating their commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards “retail thefts and will arrest anyone detained or identified as committing these crimes”.
In this week’s roundup, we meet Bensalem local, 37-year-old Gina Guy, who was caught stealing $211.00 worth of items from Target, and a trio from New Jersey caught stealing $680.00 from Kohls. This week’s winner for long-distance thieving is also our grand prize winner, 42-year-old, Zeeshan Ahmed from Brooklyn, NY who stole $2000.00 worth of goods from Home Depot.
The department will post a list of people arrested for Retail Theft and related charges in Bensalem Township each week.
The Bensalem Township Police Department, in partnership with the Bensalem Township Economic Development Corporation and local business owners, has launched Bensalem Secure. Bensalem Secure is a multifaceted approach to reducing retail theft in the township and beyond.
