Bensalem Police have arrested two Philadelphia men accused of repeatedly targeting the Fine Wine & Good Spirits on Galloway Road, allegedly using shapewear to conceal stolen bottles of high-end tequila. Willie Floyd Upson, 44, and Barry Ali Bailey, 47, were taken into custody on December 27 following a weeks-long investigation into a series of retail thefts at the location.

The investigation began on December 10, when officers responded to a report of two men concealing liquor bottles and fleeing in a dark green Toyota Tundra with New Jersey registration. Investigators say the pair returned on December 19, employing the same method to steal additional merchandise. Police linked the vehicle to both incidents.

The spree ended on December 27 when an alert store manager recognized the suspects upon their return and immediately contacted authorities.

Responding officers located the suspect vehicle nearby and detained the men. During a search, police recovered multiple bottles of tequila—including three stolen that day valued at nearly $330—and discovered the “concealment garments” worn under the suspects’ clothing.

Both men have been charged with Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy. They were arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility, with bail set at $50,000 for Upson and $40,000 for Bailey.

Two other individuals found in the vehicle were also arrested on unrelated warrants.

Bensalem Police cited this case as an example of their “zero tolerance” policy for retail theft.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bensalem Police Department.
