Bensalem Police Department confirms that they are investigating a robbery taking place at the Wawa located at 4662 Bensalem Blvd, Monday (May 30th) night at approximately 9:37 pm.
The suspect was described as a white male wearing black clothing and a black mask. He handed the clerk a note reading “I have a gun” before demanding the money. He then fled south down Bensalem Blvd., after being given an unknown amount of cash.
Following a search of the area by officers and a K-9 unit from the Bensalem Police Department, the suspect was not immediately found.
The investigation is ongoing.
