For three months a year, this is the center of the universe for Bensalem families. Located in the heart of Central Park, the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater hosts the township’s legendary ‘Summer Concert Series.’ From tribute bands that sound just like the real thing to the massive ‘Family Fun Night,’ this is where the community gathers on Wednesday nights. Grab a lawn chair, pack a cooler (rules apply!), and enjoy music under the stars.

The “Insider” Intel

This venue has very specific unwritten rules that locals know but newcomers don’t. This is where you provide value.

The Chair Policy:
Seating is ‘Bring Your Own.’ Most people bring folding camping chairs or blankets. Arrive early (gates usually open at 6:00 PM) to stake out a good spot on the lawn.”

The Resident Discount:
Bensalem Residents get a discount! You can buy a Season Pass at the Municipal Building for a steal (usually around $40-$50 for the whole summer). Non-residents are welcome but pay a slightly higher ticket price at the gate.

The Parking:
Parking is free at the Municipal Complex/Central Park lots, but it fills up fast on nice nights. Overflow parking is often available at the nearby schools, but be prepared for a short walk.

Food & Drink:
There are food vendors and concession stands inside, but you can also bring small coolers with snacks and water. (Note: Alcohol policies change year-to-year, so check the official rules before packing a six-pack).
