A 35-year-old New Jersey man is behind bars following a targeted investigation into online child exploitation by the Bensalem Township Police Department. Justin Orio, a resident of the Oaklyn and Barrington areas, surrendered to local authorities on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, after detectives linked him to a series of graphic and predatory messages.
According to police records, the investigation began in late November 2025 when Orio initiated contact with an individual on a social media and dating platform. Believing he was speaking with a 13-year-old middle school student residing in Bensalem, Orio allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations. Investigators state that Orio asked the girl if she was a virgin and requested that she send him photographs of herself.
The interaction escalated significantly in late December when Orio reportedly reached out again, inviting the minor to “hook up.” Police say Orio described graphic sexual acts he intended to perform and offered to drive from New Jersey to her Bensalem residence to pick her up. He further pressured the youth for nude images, assuring her that “her mother would never find out.”
Bensalem Detectives successfully identified Orio, who later admitted to sending the messages. Officials emphasized that because this was a proactive investigation, no actual children were in danger during the operation. This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to monitor digital spaces and protect neighborhoods near Byberry Road and the surrounding community from outside predators.
Status
Justin Orio has been charged with Unlawful Contact with a Minor and Sexual Abuse of Children. He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10% of a $750,000 bail.
