The Bensalem Township Police Department has announced the passing of Deputy Director David Richardson, a 24-year veteran of the department, losing a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Deputy Director Richardson is survived by his wife Johanna and daughters Ella and Bailey.
The Bensalem Township Police Department, Director William McVey, and Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo are sad to announce the passing of Deputy Director David Richardson. He fought a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer over the last year with unending courage and humility but has finally succumbed to this horrible disease. Deputy Director Richardson was a police officer in Bensalem Township for the past 24 years.
