Founding Fathers Bensalem to take over 2900 Street Road
As reported by 94.5 PST, the popular South Street sports bar Founding Fathers Sports Bar & Grill has announced it will be opening its second location here in Bensalem.
They will move into 2900 Street Road, the former home of Quaker Stake and Lube which closed in 2021, and a string of other bar/restaurants that never really quite made it. The COVID lockdown didn’t help matters any.
The location itself is prime, with plenty of parking, an outdoor dining area, and plenty of space inside.
The shuttered sports bar Quaker, Steak and Lube on Street Rd will soon be reopening as a second location of our popular South Street, Philadelphia sports bar Founding Fathers. You can expect a casual game day atmosphere, indoor / outdoor bar and dining, large space for private events and an amazing pub style menu similar to that of our Philadelphia location. We can’t wait to meet all of our new neighbors when we open!
Founding Fathers Bensalem is currently hiring for all positions
While no timetable has been given for the grand opening, the Founding Fathers Bensalem website is accepting applications for all positions.
With the reputation of being one of Philly’s most popular bars since 2014, I think they’ll be able to finally turn that location around and bring Bensalem a great spot to enjoy with friends on game night or any night.
