On May 24, 2022, the Bensalem Township Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Frank Flanagan to the position of high school principal who will be replacing William Ferrara who is retiring at the end of June.
Mr. Flanagan has extensive knowledge and experience working as an educational leader in both the Daniel Boone School District and the Downingtown Area School District, serving as high school assistant principal in both districts. Previously, for nearly 10 years he held various administrative positions in the Pennridge School District. Mr. Flanagan began his career in education in 2007 and has served in a variety of roles including as an English teacher, social studies teacher, teaching assistant, lacrosse, football, and tennis coach.
At the same meeting, the board approved the appointment of Nicole M. Copestick to the position of Assistant Principal at Bensalem High School where she will be replacing Dr. Diana Garaitonandia who will be leaving to join the Centennial School District.
Mrs. Copestick has been a classroom educator in Bensalem for nine years, teaching Biology, Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry. Since January 31, 2022, she has been on Special Assignment as an Assistant Principal at Bensalem High School.
