Bensalem Police Arrest 28 Retail Thieves in One Week
Township Police announced a striking 28 arrests over the course of one week. They also restated their commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards “retail thefts and will arrest anyone detained or identified as committing these crimes”.
The Bensalem Police Department was already making national news for their use of a small drone fleet to aid efforts in combating retail theft to great effect, achieving a clearance rate far higher than the national average.
Also of note is the department’s outreach to the public through their Coffee with a Cop program which kicks off this Saturday, May 18th at the Rockhill Dr Target store.
Bensalem Secure, the department’s partnership with the Bensalem Township Economic Development Corporation and local business owners, seems to be paying dividends for the moment.
