Bensalem Police Arrest 11 in Last Week of August
Township Police announced 11 arrests from August 23rd through August 29th, restating their commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards “retail thefts and will arrest anyone detained or identified as committing these crimes”.
In this week’s roundup, we meet Bensalem local 59-year-old Muhabat Saliva who thought it would be a good idea to walk into Redner’s and steal over $60 worth of items. And it seems as though this was the week for people from Philadelphia to shoplift from Bensalem Stores.
The department will post a list of people arrested for Retail Theft and related charges in Bensalem Township each week.

The Bensalem Township Police Department, in partnership with the Bensalem Township Economic Development Corporation and local business owners, has launched Bensalem Secure. Bensalem Secure is a multifaceted approach to reducing retail theft in the township and beyond.
