Bensalem Kohls to get a Babies “R” Us
Kohls announced on Wednesday the locations of 200 stores where Babies “R” Us merchandise would be available, joining Sephora within the walls of the retailer and online via the Kohls website where customers will also be able to create gift lists using Babies “R” Us at Kohl’s registry.
The Bensalem Street Road location will join 8 other stores in the Greater Philadelphia area. The first Babies “R” Us shops are expected to open in August.
Kohl’s announced a new partnership with WHP Global, the owners of Babies “R” Us brand, in March. The company plans to roll out the 200 stores by the fall of 2024, extending its reach to a younger demographic.
The Sephora partnership drove $1.4 billion in sales for Kohls in 2023, and the retailer hopes for similar success.
Kohl’s has announced that it will offer a range of baby-focused products that include baby gear, furniture, bath, feeding, safety products, and accessories that will feature popular brands such as Little Co. by Lauren Conrad, Jumping Beans, Carters, and Nike.
The Babies “R” Us stores within Kohl’s will range from 750 to 2,500 square feet. The stores are intended to complement the existing baby apparel and products at Kohl’s, creating a comprehensive baby shop for customers.
