Bensalem High Musician Hits a High Note at Districts!

Share

Our very own Bensalem High School students have been busy crushing it on the regional stage.

A huge shout-out to senior Julian Sliwinski. Julian was one of only seven alto sax players picked for the PMEA District 11 Band Festival. That means he’s officially one of the top saxophonists in all of Bucks and Montgomery counties.

He represented the Owls at Central Bucks High School East recently, and we couldn’t be more proud of that “note-worthy” achievement!

The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association is a statewide nonprofit organization with over 4,000 members dedicated to promoting and supporting quality music education, learning, and performance in schools and communities across Pennsylvania.

Why It Matters

These festivals are highly competitive, and having our students rank so highly shows just how much talent and hard work is living right here in Bensalem.

E Westfall is the new Publisher and Editor of Bensalem Weekly. A resident of the township for a decade, Eric launched the publication to solve a personal frustration: the constant struggle to find out what was actually happening in town. After years of missing grand openings, finding out about concerts too late, and digging through minutes to understand why school taxes were going up, he decided to build the solution himself. His goal for Bensalem Weekly is simple: to stop the "hunting and searching" and give residents one reliable place for both hard news and local life.
