Philadelphia Man Arrested for Attempted Homicide at Bensalem Trailer Park

Bensalem Police have arrested a 21-year-old Philadelphia man following a violent shooting incident that disturbed the peace at the Top of the Ridge Trailer Park earlier this month. The suspect, identified as Travis Fleck of the 6700 block of Woodenbridge Road, is facing serious charges, including Criminal Attempted Homicide, after allegedly opening fire during a late-night dispute.

The incident unfolded in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 8, 2026. At approximately 12:44 a.m., emergency dispatchers received reports of gunfire at the residential community located on Gibson Road. When patrol officers arrived on the scene, they discovered an adult male victim suffering from a severe gunshot wound to his left arm. Acting quickly to prevent further blood loss, responding officers applied a tourniquet to the injury, a tactical decision credited with likely saving the man’s life. The victim was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition but has since been treated and released.

Investigators determined that the violence stemmed from a confrontation between the victim, who was walking at the time, and the occupants of a red sedan. As the argument escalated into a physical altercation with the vehicle’s driver, Fleck, who was seated in the rear passenger seat, allegedly fired two shots. One bullet struck the victim, while a second stray round dangerously impacted a nearby mobile home, narrowly missing other residents.

Utilizing a network of surveillance footage, intersection cameras, and License Plate Readers (LPR), detectives tracked the suspect vehicle as it fled the township toward a residence in Levittown. This digital trail ultimately led police to Fleck in Philadelphia. During a police interview, Fleck admitted to the shooting. A subsequent search of his home yielded four firearms, including a 9mm “ghost gun”—a privately made firearm without a serial number—which police identified as the weapon used in the attack.

Status

Travis Fleck was arraigned by District Justice Terry Hughes and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $1,000,000 bail.
