Large Escrow Release and Auditor Appointment Top Monday’s Agenda

Bensalem Council will meet this Monday to discuss a significant financial release for a Bristol Pike development and fill a vacancy on the Board of Auditors. Here is what is on the docket for the upcoming meeting.


The Big Ticket Item: 700 Bristol Pike Escrow Release

Council is set to vote on a substantial escrow release of $671,499.50 for the development project located at 700 Bristol Pike (Tax Parcel 02-031-001). This request represents “Release #1” for the site.

Why it matters

The release of over half a million dollars signals that significant infrastructure or required site improvements have been completed to the township’s satisfaction at this prominent Bristol Pike location.

  • Township Auditor Appointment: Council will hold a discussion and is expected to make an appointment to the Township Auditor’s position. This follows a public search for a qualified elector to fill a term ending in December 2027.
  • Residential Extension: A Land Development Extension Agreement is up for consideration for Costa Homes, Inc., regarding the property at 4946 Neshaminy Boulevard.
  • Meeting Minutes: Council will vote to approve the official records from the January 12th, 2026, and February 9th, 2026, meetings.
