Share

Bensalem Township officials and local law enforcement gathered recently to honor a staple of the local business community. Mayor Joe DiGirolamo, alongside several members of the Bensalem Township Police Department, attended a special anniversary celebration at the Texas Roadhouse located on Street Road. The event marked two decades of the restaurant serving the residents of Bensalem and its surrounding neighborhoods.

During the ceremony, city leaders expressed deep gratitude to Norm Patten, the Managing Partner and Brand Ambassador of the Bensalem location. The recognition focused not only on the restaurant’s longevity as a dining destination but also on its consistent role as a corporate citizen. For twenty years, the establishment has been a fixture in the local economy, providing jobs and a gathering place for families near the busy Parx Casino and Neshaminy Mall corridor.

The Bensalem Police Department highlighted that Texas Roadhouse has been a longstanding supporter of first responders. Their partnership extends beyond the police, as the restaurant frequently collaborates with Bensalem Fire and Bensalem EMS services. This tradition of community backing has made the franchise an integral part of the township’s social fabric.

As the restaurant enters its third decade of operation, township officials noted that such enduring partnerships between local businesses and public safety agencies help foster a stronger sense of community. The celebration concluded with a message of congratulations from the township, voicing a shared desire for many more years of continued success and local cooperation.
