Meet the Newest Legends of Owl Country!

Did you catch the excitement over the weekend? The Bensalem High School gym was buzzing on Saturday, January 17, as they rolled out the blue and gray carpet for the newest members of the Athletic Hall of Fame. It was a fantastic day of hoops and history, with the ceremony taking place right between the boys’ and girls’ basketball games.

Twelve local legends—including ten former athletes, one iconic coach, and a dedicated community supporter—were officially inducted into the club. From baseball aces to wrestling powerhouses, this group represents the absolute best of what it means to be an Owl. After the applause died down at the gym, the celebration moved over to the Bensalem Country Club for dinner and plenty of reminiscing.

The Details:

Here is the Class of 2026 that just wrote their names in the history books:

  • Stephen Aldrich, Jr. (2018): A pitching ace who led the Owls to a league title.

  • Nick Cooper (2018): A wrestling powerhouse with over 100 wins.

  • Harry Daut, Jr. (Coach): The baseball mastermind with over 100 wins and a state finals appearance.

  • Richard Duncan-Murphy (2013): A dominant offensive lineman and community leader.

  • Brian Kilcoyne (2014): “Mr. Bensalem” himself, known for that historic playoff-winning goal.

  • Jackie Morell (2015): A softball strikeout queen who threw a memorable no-hitter.

  • Lauren Morell (2016): A softball slugger with over 100 career hits (and now a coach!).

  • Brett “B Mack” Moss (2007): A football force remembered for his toughness and heart.

  • Keith Parrish, III (2018): A two-sport threat who shone in both football and baseball.

  • Norm Patten (Distinguished Service): A superfan and mentor who has supported our teams for decades.

  • Rahi Shah (2016): A cross-country star who ran his way to a league championship.

  • Leo Vincent (2013): A basketball dynamo who energized the court every time he played.

Why It Matters: Honoring these stars keeps our school’s history alive and shows our current student-athletes just how high they can soar.

The Bottom Line

  • What happened: 12 Bensalem icons were inducted into the Hall of Fame on Jan 17, 2026.

  • What to do: If you see these folks (or their families) around town, give them a high-five!

  • Owl Pride: It’s a great reminder that our sports programs have deep roots and a bright future.
